It all started as an actress, working close with people, I didn't want to be that actress with nar nar breath. And now, as a teacher, I don't want to be that teacher with nar nar breath- so instead I chew and chew. Sometimes I wake up and my jaw hurts because I chew a pack a day. People tell me to switch to Altoids. I hate Altoids. It's a pretty big problem. But I think I have found something of a solution:
Metromint! This water, for all intensive purposes, is like drinking peppermint gum or maybe a light mouthwash! It's on sale at Whole Foods, and I can see why. Because it's client base is really just people who are trying to cut their gum habit. As for water, it's not that great- sipping gum is ok, but chugging it- yuk. But for us gum chewers, this is great: you can hydrate yourself and avoid TMJ while keeping that mint taste around that we all are addicted to.
So before you make your next trip to Costco for gum that will only keep you for a week, try Metromint.

Uhhh, the only word I can come up with for that is 'ick', but thats not really a word. I'll just eat an altoid every five minutes or so...

I prefer the orange tic-tacs, they are made with love happiness and orange Cocaine. Im not sure i could deal with mint flavored water. :-(

but, but, I cannot live without gum! At this point, it's way beyond nar nar breath. I must to chew on something at all times.

somehow kristen I don't find the idea of drinking light mouthwash appealing. but rock on if you do. i might reconsider if it were cinnamon, that's where my addiction lies.

so you're replacing nar nar breath, with... nar nar mint liquid. brilliant strategy! i look forward to seeing how long this lasts. or, on the flip side, to seeing you become addicted to 'metromint'. at least you're kicking the gum habit. mazel.

I am a gum chewer, sometimes I will chew a whole pack of gum in 1/2 hour. There is something about a fresh piece. Sometimes I have a whole wad. Then I take it out and start all over again. Of course not in front of people.
I also have the tendency to over eat, and at one time I was a smoker, its an oral habit, that has not a thing to do with being hungry, more nervous and anxious. But not totally consious of any of it. Just chewing and chewing which is better than smoking and over eating
